What does Montreal inspire you?
Syzzors : Incredible effervescent energy! The city oscillates between a super festive energy in summer and several months of hibernation in winter, which is conducive enough to focus on creation.
How would you describe your music?
Syzzors : A mix of bittersweet melodies, lively beats, electronic textures and groovy basses wrapped in an aura of nostalgia. Imagine walking on a misty beach in the morning with your head in the clouds.
Your ritual before you go on stage?
Syzzors : A band handshake! Right after the usual shot of Jameson 😉
What music do you listen to motivate yourself?
Syzzors : Super catchy stuff like Aqua, Danse Plus 2000 and NOW5, it’s still a classic when you want to get mad in the car.
… and to chill during summer?
Syzzors : It’s so varied! We all have quite different tastes but right now for me a mix of techno, old rock, big pop, local artists, 80’s music, indie artists of the moment etc…. (Gabriel’s choice)
Outstanding memory of your musical career?
Syzzors : The opening of the FME in Abitibi in 2015! One of our biggest crowds so far and especially three days of music, great encounters, and relaxation on the lake shore.
2 artists you would advise us to follow?
Any word for your MEG 2018 audience?
Syzzors : It’s going to SHACK!!
